Our mission is to construct customized exercise programs
with progression elements integrated into training sessions
that equip and empower each client to achieve their health
and wellness goals.
This allows clients accommodation to the factors of their
individuality, while steadily improving overall performance.
Most people have responsibilities, both personal and
professional, that make multiple demands on their time. That
doesnt mean that you dont have fitness goals and a desire
to improve. I am here to teach you how to train your body
to be the most powerful, effective, and efficient vehicle
possible.
Within this process I provide realistic, actionable
coaching, keeping clients accountable and focused.
Essentially, we all have one body to last an entire
lifetime. Like any other investment, the better care it
gets, the greater the payoff later in life.
My name is Sherry Perkins. I am the founder and director of
Empowered Health and Fitness, LLC. I began helping
individuals reach their fitness goals in 2007 as an
independent agent doing personal training for individual
clients in fitness and running. I am CPR , AED, and First
Aid trained. I am in the process of obtaining the ACE
Personal Fitness Trainer Certification. I would love to help
you assess your fitness level, set up a customized training
program just for you, and keep you motivated to achieve your
goals at a cost that will fit your budget.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN AN ASSESSMENT AND FITNESS SESSION?
Each session lasts about an hour. The first meeting is
devoted to assessing your fitness level, by taking your body
measurements, measuring body fat, recording your beginning
weight, and documenting your exercise and health history and
your goals. I will also answer any specific questions you
may have about your health and your goals. After the first
meeting, subsequent sessions will include actual strength,
endurance, balance, and flexibility training, and well-being
techniques.
HELP YOUR TRAINER BY
Keeping your focus on your goals and working toward them
Bringing your own towel and a full water bottle
Giving at LEAST 24 hour notice if you need to cancel or
reschedule
Writing down any questions about your fitness program and
bringing them to your session--you'll maximize your training
results by spending less time talking and more time working
out
Addressing any issues as soon as they arise
Recognizing that your trainer is there to guide you--but
it is up to YOU to do the work!
